Conductivity with the the SIGMASCOPE® SMP350 is equipped with an user-friendly operating system and an intuitive graphical user interface that drives high-resolution touchscreen operable with stylus or finger. The corresponding probes are suited for different measurement frequencies. For automatic compensation of temperature influences on the measurement, the ambient or specimen temperature can be taken directly with the integrated (or optional external) temperature sensor, not only reveals how well a metal conducts electrical current, it also indirectly allows you to draw conclusions about changes in the metal's composition, microstructure and mechanical properties.  Fischer, you can determine these important parameters quickly and accurately. The special eddy current method enables non-touch measurement, even under paint or plastic coatings up to 500 μm thick. This method simultaneously minimizes the influence of surface roughness.
SIGMASCOPE® SMP350 is a multi-frequency compact handheld device for determining the electrical conductivity of non-ferrous metals such as Aluminum, Titanium, Brass, Bronze, or Copper. Measuring conductivity enables you to make some conclusions about the hardness and strength of heat-treated materials. Evidence of heat damage and material fatigue can thus be established. For this, the phase-sensitive eddy current method is used, which is approved for the measurement of conductivity according to DIN EN 2004-1 and ASTM E 1004.
